Updated
Mint is a free download on the App Store. Scanning, prices, the portfolio chart, Pokédex tracking and alerts all work without paying, within the limits below. Mint Pro removes those limits and is sold through the App Store as $6.99 per month, $39.99 per year (about $3.33 a month) or $59.99 once for lifetime access, with a free trial on the subscriptions. These are US prices; Apple sets the equivalent in other countries.

How the subscription works
- Billing, renewal and cancellation are handled by Apple. Cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
- One purchase covers every device signed in with the same Apple Account; Restore Purchases in Mint's settings brings it back after a reinstall.
- The free scan counter resets at the start of each month.
- Apple occasionally shows introductory or special offers at a lower price; the regular prices are the ones above.
Is Pro worth it?
If you add fewer than 20 cards a month and own fewer than 200, stay on Free. Pro pays off the first time you digitize a binder with Deck Sweep™ (a 3×3 page is one scan, not nine), when your collection passes 200 cards, or when you want more than three alerts on the sealed products you are watching. The lifetime purchase costs the same as about nine months of the monthly plan.
